Herobrine Mod – Minecraft was dull until hostile monsters were introduced. Believe it or not, but a large majority of minecraft users are entertained mainly because of this feature simply because the hostile mobs made survival much harder. Over time mobs have become harder and harder to kill, by introducing new ones, and also changing the mobs stats and abilities. Even so, the question is; what happens when hostile mobs are mixed with legend.
The Herobrine Mod for Minecraft 1.7.1 and 1.7.2, is an extremely intelligent and hostile mod. By taking the myth of the mysterious Herobrine, and in turn, implementing the legend into the game; this mod works to make minecraft much scarier and much more hostile world to live in. The myth of Herobrine is based around the story of the brother of Notch. (The creator of minecraft). Whose name was Herobrine, or so his minecraft username was. However when Herobrine passed away, players reported sightings of the ghost of Herobrine in their SINGLEPLAYER worlds. This came to a shock to many players and the myth quickly turn into legend like a virus. Herobrine would haunt the fog of your world, staying just in sight. The character of Herobrine was almost identical to Steve, however the eyes of the character were a pale white colour. More rumours began to spread amongst the initial theory and Herobrine was given new “abilities”, such as turning animal’s eyes white like his own, and killing players whilst destroying the player’s game to disallow them ever playing minecraft. For many months Notch played along with this urban legend, editing the update logs of minecraft to “removed Herobrine”. Of course he was only teasing, however he eventually admitted Herobrine was fiction and he did not have a brother, nor he ever did.
The Herobrine Mod for Minecraft 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 Features
The Herobrine mod introduces a new mob type, one of its kinds and the most deadly of all; Herobrine, hence the mods name. However the developer of this mod has taken much time to research the Herobrine myth before the actual creation of the mod itself. With much knowledge of the urban legend, he was then able to develop an amazing, yet unique mod that introduces Herobrine into your singleplayer worlds. Not only this, but Herobrine will haunt, maim, kill and spread chaos; not always by harming or destroying land, but speaking into your chat box even when he is a fair distance away. Herobrine will teleport, attack, jump-scare, change mob textures and all on all do everything the legend has said Herobrine would do. By using mob sounds, such as the ghasts screech-on-hit noise the mod aims to scare you to death. Surprisingly enough the mod does exactly that and has been named one of the scariest mods ever developed. I agree.
The Herobrine Mod for Minecraft 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 introduces one new block which is used to allow the mighty Herobrine to spawn. Luckily for players who don’t want to be terrorized all the time in every world they own, they don’t have to be. In order for the Herobrine mob to spawn, the new block must be created; the Herobrine Totem. This block is based on the netherrack texture however has the face of Herobrine himself on the front. When this totem is activated the eyes change colour and the text; “you don’t know what you did” appears in your chat. This lets you know that you have allowed Herobrine to spawn. After this is done, there is no turning back and you will be forever tormented.
The Herobrine Mod for Minecraft 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 Usage
Using this mod is incredibly easy. Simply by creating the correct totem setup, and activating it in the end, you can allow the Herobrine mod to the game. By following a very simple crafting recipe, you can craft and place the newly implemented Herobrine spawning totem. Once you have allows Herobrine to spawn your job is simply to survive. This is no different your original goal in minecraft, the Herobrine mod simply acts to make your goal harder, and in turn to scare you. Just like a horror movie this game works to freak you out, more than a creeper.
